Power

Power is to have influence, where the circumstance of obtaining such power can be much seperate from others. Although power can influence others or a course of events, it can be obtained in different ways. For example, those who are very wealthy can be seen to have a lot of 'power', as their status and money can have a great influence on others or events that they want to partake in their favour. Another form of power is obtaining it through fear. In this circumstance, an individual can be seen to have power over someone when they are feared, also allowing them to have direct influence on an individual or a course of events that partakes in their favour. Both these examples provide evidence that their are different forms of power and that it can be physical or mental, both proving to have influence.
