Pitching
As seen in the video, an effective way to pitch an idea that
will draw attention and possibly close a deal is structured with key ideas.
First is getting to the point fast, this demonstrates the focus that the person
pitching the idea has and that they mean business. After, the pitcher must
establish the need, which is why they need help from another party and how they
are going to fit in. Along with this there is presenting the structure of the
pitch, because doing this validates that the idea is organized and
professional. The next key feature is a very important one, which is
identifying who your competition is and what you are going to do to have an
advantage on them and attract customers. Lastly, smart pitchers will include
introducing their team, brining comfort to and bonding with the who is being
pitched to. In conclusion, the reason I chose this video from Dragon’s Den is
because the person in the video demonstrated all these key ideas for how to
properly pitch an idea that would be effective in drawing people in.
