Communication Culture

An example of a defensive frame would be a person demonstrating neutrality in the way they act. Neutrality is defined as the state of not supporting or helping either side in an activity such as a conflict. In this case, the defensive frame for this person shows little to no interest, not gives their opinion on the matter. On the other side there is an example of a supportive frame with a person demonstrating empathy, which is defined as serving to support something. The person exhibiting empathy shows that they care and are interested in helping out both sides, where they tend to give their opinion to bring a solution to the situation.
