Gender Equality

In regards to women being treated lesser than men, gender inequality is something that has taken place since the beginning of human civilization. Although we as humans have improved in generating the thought of women impowerement, there is still sexism, lack of respect and more, which intales that we still have a long way to go. Some people feel that using their dominance and advantages to make women feel less signigicant, which isn't right. For me personally, I have a mother and sister in my life, who are both strong independent women and capable of many things just like anyone. They are every bit human as I am, so there's no reason why they shouldn't have the same opportunities as me, and treated lesser because there of a different gender.
