The Power of Alliances

Power can come from two main components, individually or collectively. Majority of the time there is strength in numbers, which is seen with alliances, being that they are an effective source of power. Creating an alliance allows a party to become more powerful, since they have people by their side to defend and aid them in any situation if necessary. An example of this is from a show I really enjoyed, called Naruto. At the beginning of the show, two of the main characters named Naruto and Sasuke, were both lonely and in search of physical power to further themselves as ninja, where Sasuke started off being much more powerful than Naruto. The two characters took complete opposite paths as they grew up, being that Naruto was able obtain the greatest amount of power out of any character in the show from the bonds and alliances he built during the course of his life. Sasuke on the other hand, was also able to achieve a great amount of power, but not as much as Naruto, struggling to doing so because he tried to do everything by himself and stayed isolated, not believing in forming alliances. Additionally, this resulted in Naruto becoming happier and more powerful as a person, as he formed great bonds and alliances. As for Sasuke, he would not see happiness, as he was always isolated and did not have as much power as Naruto because of this.
